Sanket graduated from Queen Margaret University, Scotland UK with a Masters in Physiotherapy in 2012, after having acquired his Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy at the Ragiv Ghandi University, Bangalore India in 2007. 
He has over 12 years of experience as a Physiotherapist and has worked in a variety of settings including Hospitals, Nursing homes, Long term care homes, and Private Clinics
He continues to acquire new skills and knowledge and enjoys treating the general public as well as athletes of all levels. His treatment involves a combination of manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, and exercise and movement re-education to restore full, pain-free function 
Sanket is interested to incorporate the most current evidence-based practice with clinical experience and further his knowledge through diverse specialty courses. He is certified in Maitland mobilization techniques, acupuncture, IMS, and Functional Capacity Evaluation. 
During his spare time, he enjoys reading and spending quality time with his loved ones. He strongly believes that an active lifestyle is a key to living a longer and more joyful life.

 

DR. BALKARAN AHLUWALIA

Chiropractor

Dr. Ahluwalia is a board-certified chiropractor with an extensive background in treating muscle, joint, and sports injuries with a focus on rehab, performance, and human biomechanics. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science with a major in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University, he went on to complete his Doctorate in Chiropractic from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon as well as his Master of Science in Sports Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. 
He uses an evidence-based approach to formulate individualized treatment plans to get the best results in patients. He specializes in a variety of spinal and extremity conditions by utilizing techniques such as chiropractic adjustments, rehabilitation exercises, soft tissue therapy, cupping, taping, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, physiotherapy modalities, and more. 
During his time in Portland, he had the opportunity to work at various professional and amateur sporting events, treating different types of athletes that helped him hone his skills. His passion for sports grew from high school and to this day he stays active by competing in basketball, swimming, weight-lifting, taking leisurely hikes, and walking his dog. Fitness is a passion of his and he likes to empower his patients with the ability to change and progress towards a pain-free and active lifestyle. Treating individuals and seeing their improvements and the impact it has on their lives is what drives him to be the best chiropractor that he can be.

 

SIMON CAI

Registered Massage Therapist

Simon graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy’s 3,000-hour program in New Westminster. Simon obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, San Diego, which gives him a better understanding of human anatomy and physiology. Being a soccer player and sports enthusiast, Simon is no stranger to sports injuries and ailments. His approach to massage therapy involves Relaxation Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Muscle Energy Technique, and Joint Mobilization Technique. Additionally, Simon has done numerous studies in frozen shoulder and acute/chronic lower back pain. Simon is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

 

FEI LI

Registered Massage Therapist

Fei has accomplished a 2800-hour accredited Massage Therapy program and successfully obtained an RMT certificate.
She has dedicated to this field for over three years and has a passion for treating patients with a variety of musculoskeletal health concerns, including frozen shoulder, pregnancy massage, office-work related aches, and pain, sports injuries.
She also has developed a good set of techniques in treatment, such as joint mobilization, fascia release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, and deep tissue massage.
Fei enjoys hiking, boating, and playing basketball.

 

TONY WU

Registered Massage Therapist

Tony graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Vancouver Career College and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia.  During his training, he was able to participate in many outreach opportunities and treated patients with various conditions. He worked with elderly patients, athletes, individuals with mental or physical disabilities, and those living with HIV and cancer. Additionally, he has a great deal of experience in treating ICBC patients. Some of the common injuries related to ICBC patients include whiplash, severe headaches, muscle strain, nerve damage, and disc herniation.
Tony will assess your condition, give you options for treatment, and work with you to achieve your desired results. Whether you have issues such as pain and soreness from daily activities or age related, stress and tension headache, sport or other injury, limited range of motion, rehabilitation, health maintenance or just relaxation, you will be in good hands. 
Tony delivers effective treatments by incorporating different modalities such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, active and passive stretching, Swedish and deep tissue massage. Each treatment is followed by a review of homecare to support you to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle. He does not simply treat symptoms or complains, but helps you understand the cause and how you can minimize the occurrence in the future.
In his spare time, Tony enjoys long walks with his beloved dogs, going to the gym and spending time with friends.

TERESA ZHAO

Teresa Zhao graduated from the 2750 hour RMT program at Vancouver Career College. During the academic time, she had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of conditions in the school clinic and at different outreaches including BC women’s hospital, MS society BC, Positive Living BC, Douglas college sports team, Emineda seniors home and etc. 

Teresa’s passion is to help her patients achieve a healthy lifestyle and restore balanced body function. Her focus is on posture balancing, fascial releasing, and muscle relaxation. She is especially good at treating muscle tension headaches, whiplash associated disorder, neck and shoulder stiffness, and chronic lower back pain. She truly believes that massage therapy is one of the best, the safest, and the most natural way to heal the body and promote physical and mental well-being.

Teresa enjoys an active lifestyle and likes to do yoga, hiking, dancing and watch movies. She also has a master's degree in business and a bachelor's degree in arts. Besides English, Teresa is also fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.



 

JOHN LI

Registered Massage Therapist

John graduated from Vancouver Career College’s Registered Massage Therapy program with honors in April 2019 and received his RMT designation in November 2019.
John started as a certified bodyworker before he enrolled in the Registered Massage Therapy program and gained satisfaction when he helped clients improve their conditions. Before coming to Canada, John was an orthopedic surgeon who had dedicated his practice to acquire patients' satisfaction. John is honored to have the trust and loyalty of many families ever since his early practice. John's medical knowledge and experience give him an insight into the reasons to treat many kinds of tissue and joint pains. He also adheres to the principle of patient-centeredness, which he provides both deep tissue and relaxation in his treatments.
In his spare time, John likes reading, doing exercises, outdoor activities, e.g. rowing and swimming in lakes and rivers, cycling, hiking, and soccer.

 

NINA LIAO

Nina graduated from HuNan University of TCM, 14 years TCM work experience, 5 years bachelor's degree, licensed medical doctor title in China. She worked as TCM doctor in the hospital for many years, skillful in using herbs, acupuncture, massage, and other modalities to treat muscles & joints pain, headache, stiff neck, frozen shoulder, ganglion cyst, varicosity, insomnia, facial paralysis, stroke sequelae, obesity, and other conditions.

 

DANTE LI

Registered Massage Therapist

Dante is a massage therapist registered with CMTBC. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and has strong understanding in human anatomy and kinesiology. Being an engineer with high standards and precision in the past, he treats every patient accurately and effectively. His approaches to massage therapy are mainly therapeutic, involving Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Release and Joint Mobilization Techniques. In addition, Dante has also done much research and study in Manual Osteopathy. He is fluent in both English and Mandarin.

 

ADRIAN ZHOU

Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner

Adrian graduated from the RMT program at Vancouver Career College and is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. 
Adrian is also practicing as a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner in B.C. since 2014. His combined Eastern and Western medical backgrounds encompass his practice with not only trigger points in muscles, but also acupoints and meridian lines in the body.
Adrian is dedicated to helping patients relief from aches and pain, work stress, repetitive use injuries, and achieve their desired state of comfort. He also focuses on maintaining the wellness of the body through preventative care. He incorporates relaxation massage, deep tissue massage, joint mobilizations, trigger point therapy, and muscle energy technique into his treatments.  
In his spare time, Adrian likes swimming, hiking, and spending time with his family.

 

VIVIAN CHIA

Registered Massage Therapist

Vivian has graduated from a 2800-hour accredited Massage Therapy program. During her practicum, she has gained experience working at various outreaches including BC Women’s Hospital,  City Centre Care Society, and Positive Living BC.
Vivian’s goal is to inform, educate, and provide the best evidence-based treatment to all of her patients using a variety of techniques such as Swedish massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Joint Mobilizations.
Outside of the clinic, Vivian enjoys staying active through weightlifting, yoga, and pilates

 

JENNY LIU

Registered Acupuncturist

Jenny Liu is a Registered Acupuncturist, certified by the society of acupoint injection therapy, she also holds a bachelor’s degree of TCMD in Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China.  

Being an acupuncturist and TCM doctor for more than 20 years, she exposed herself to big amount of patients from China and Canada. She is passionate about looking after her patients and restoring them to health, as a result, most of her patients became repeated patients as they completely recovered or received a significant improvement in their disease.

Her area of expertise includes postpartum repair, De Quervain disease, cosmetic, neck and shoulder pain, lower back pain, infertility, sciatica nerves pain, tennis elbows, frozen shoulder, sinus, arthritis, insomnia, anxiety, depression, bell's palsy, headache, shingles, toothache, cold, gastrointestinal disease, obesity, dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation, etc.


 

JERRY LAI

Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner

Jerry was born and raised in a family that practices Chinese medicine since his grandparent's generation, which had helped him develop his passion for practicing from an early age. Jerry took his family inheritance to a higher level by studying at Fujian College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where he majored in acupuncture and moxibustion. In 2011, Jerry joined the Department of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in the First Hospital of Longyan City, Fujian Province, where he demonstrated his extraordinary skill in combining Chinese and Western medicine to treat internal pediatrics and complex diseases. Jerry's patients are ranging from the age of 90s to the newborn as young as a few weeks. Over 20 years of his practice, Jerry specializes in cervical spondylosis, lumbar spondylosis, sports injuries, arthritis, insomnia, dizziness, various headaches, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, obesity, pediatrics, and tumor conditioning after chemotherapy.

 

VICTOR HE

Registered Acupuncturist

Victor graduated from the School of Medicine of Shihezi University in Xinjiang in 1991. He has been engaged in clinical practice in Western medicine ever since. In 2006, he studied Chinese medicine and acupuncture. After obtaining his Chinese medicine degree, he has been engaged in practicing Chinese medicine and acupuncture until now. He is currently a registered acupuncturist in Canada. He has a practical and unique clinical experience for treating facial paralysis, stroke rehabilitation, soft tissue injury, pain caused by trauma and strain, and limb dysfunction. He is committed to helping patients relieve pain and regain health.

 

ALICE ZHENG

Registered Acupuncturist

Alice is a Registered Acupuncturist in BC, Canada.  She brings over a total of 17 years of experience educating and working in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine is from China, Japan, and Canada. She got her Bachelor's degree in the Integration of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, and the double-undergraduate Major of Acupuncture and Massage in China, Medical Ethics Ph.D. diploma in Japan and Acupuncture diploma in Canada. With her abundant TCM background and experience, Alice believes in the value of traditional and complementary medicine together. She is a professional acupuncturist who will do everything possible within her knowledge to help her patients live healthier and more self-confident by using a wide variety of natural and effective acupuncture treatment methods.
