Who Can Apply?
You may be eligible for funded counselling if you are:

A victim of a violent crime

A family member of a victim
-
A witness to a traumatic incident
An approved claim number is required before sessions can be billed.

What is CVAP?
The Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) is a provincial program that provides financial assistance for counselling and recovery services to individuals impacted by violent crime in British Columbia.

Direct Billing to CVAP Available
CVAP provides coverage up to $135 per session for eligible counselling services. Our standard session fee is $155 per 50-minute session. Patients are responsible for $20 difference not covered by CVAP.
